Jay Plett, Architect

As the Principal of Jay Plett Architecture, Jay has designed more than 500 new and remodeled homes in Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno and surrounding communities.

He applies his craft to design spaces that people can dwell in, focusing on beauty, comfort and functional living. Jay brings character to his designs providing a sense of home for the client and focusing on seamless indoor/outdoor transitions. Jay welcomes challenging sites and projects - turning obstacles into a design advantage.

Jay has an extensive understanding of materials, engineering and construction, enabling him to develop innovative design and structural solutions. A West Valley College transfer, Jay graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, where he studied Architecture and Construction Management. Jay was a design and production Architect for Gary Schloh receiving his license in 1992, then becoming principal at Jay Plett Architecture in 2014. During his time of practice, he has developed long standing relationships with town historical preservation committees, planning commissions, and planning/building departments.

Anita Camozzi, Office Manager

Anita Camozzi joined Jay Plett Architect in 2017. She holds an Associate’s degree in Business and brings a well-rounded background, including 6 years of residential appraising experience where she held a California AR license and 13 years of Administrative/Office Support experience.

Outside of the office, Anita likes to embark on weekend adventures and to take classes/enjoy experiences in cooking and the arts.
